About Sandra Pearce

Sandra Pearce has been a professional photographer here in Okeechobee for over 24 years.

Today, she is one of the most sought out digital artist in the  photographic industry. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and holds a Master Artist Degree, Master Photographer Degree, Craftsman’s Degree (earned by teaching)and is a Certified Professional Photographer.  She is also an Image Excellence & Image Excellence Bar recipient.

Sandra has had the opportunity to speak to thousands of professional photographers across the country from guild level programs to state and national conventions. She has been painting digital for 15 years, teaching for the last 10 years throughout most of the states.

Her experience in digital imaging has set her apart in competitions and she has been awarded Artist of the Year by the Florida Professional Photographers numerous years, Canon Par Excellence 2015, 2016 and 2017, Kodak Awards, Fuji Awards and other awards. Sandra has been in the top ten for Grand Imaging Awards since its inception in 2010. Sandra won the GIA Award for 1st place in the Art Category (2010 and 2016) at the Imaging Awards and also won 2nd place in 2010 and 2011 and 3rd in 2012.

The difference between traditional art and digital art are vast and varied. There is one common link, the knowledge and skill needed to create true art, regardless of the medium. Sandra has a working knowledge of traditional art and computer based art. Photoshop is the medium she uses to create her digital art paintings. It is her goal to educate people that Digital Art has a place in the Artist Community.
